Job Overview:

We are looking for a curious and hands-on Autonomous Systems Intern to join our team and support the design, development, integration, and testing of autonomous systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building things, solving problems from first principles, and wants to grow into robotics, drones, and embedded systems engineering. You'll work closely with our engineering team on real hardware and real code — not just simulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in building, integrating, and testing autonomous drone hardware.
• Write and debug programs to interface with sensors such as IMU, GPS, cameras, and LiDAR, and process their data.
• Support the integration and testing of software on Linux-based systems, including embedded platforms such as Raspberry Pi and NVIDIA Jetson boards.
• Contribute to writing efficient, well-structured code in C++ (and Python where applicable), applying OOP principles.
• Apply math and physics fundamentals — especially trigonometry, coordinate transformations, and basic control concepts — to real-world navigation and stabilization problems.
• Debug hardware-software integration issues by understanding how the underlying computer, operating system, and sensors work together.
• Assist with system-level testing, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Comfortable programming and debugging, with the ability to write clean and working code independently.
• Working experience with Linux, including command-line tools, file systems, and basic scripting/setup.
• Hands-on experience building or assembling drones or robotic systems through personal projects, competitions, coursework, or internships.
• Good grasp of mathematics, particularly trigonometry, and the ability to apply concepts to practical engineering problems.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and basic software design principles.
• Basic understanding of how computers, sensors, and hardware-software systems work at a fundamental level.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn through hands-on experimentation and debugging.

Good to Have (Plus Points):

• Familiarity with ROS/ROS 2, C++, and Python.
• Experience with Raspberry Pi or NVIDIA Jetson platforms.
• Exposure to computer vision, SLAM, sensor fusion, localization, or navigation concepts.
• Experience with flight controllers or autonomous drone platforms.
• Prior participation in robotics/drone competitions, technical clubs, or open-source projects.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development.
